5-wire Resistive Model with Enhanced Reliability & Durability
Analogue 5-wire resistive touchscreen series with enhanced stability and durability while maintaining the ease of use of the 4-wire resistive touchscreen, offering improved reliability in terms of operational stability and maintenance due to its long life and flexible structure compared to the 4-wire system.
-
-
Durable, Deterioration-Resistant Construction
In the 5-wire resistive system, the upper ITO film is used for voltage measurement, while the lower ITO film, which is responsible for detection performance, is coated on the glass, so the structure is not affected by physical changes in electrical resistance due to flexure or bending, making it highly durable and resistant to deterioration.
-
-
Reliable, Accurate Detection & Stability
In the 4-wire system, the upper ITO film measures the X-coordinates and the lower ITO film measures the Y-coordinates, so if one of them stops functioning, accurate detection will not be possible. 5-wire system compensates for the shortcomings of the 4-wire system and allows correct and accurate detection without being affected by the lower XY-coordinate measurement by specialising in voltage measurement on the upper ITO film. The 5-wire system compensates for the disadvantages of the 4-wire system.
-
-
Anti-Glare Film to Reduce Glare
An anti-glare film that suppresses the reflection of light is used for the ITO film. By customizing, it is possible to change to a clear film to see the LCD image clearly.
Why choose the FST SERIES?
-
-
Keystroke Life is 3.5 Times Longer than the 4-wire, at More than 35 Million
Compared to the 4-wire type, which has a lifespan of more than 10 million strikes, the 5-wire type can withstand more than 35 million touches. The 5-wire touchscreen boasts an extremely long product life for a resistive touchscreen due to its structure.
-
-
Improved Input Accuracy & Precision
The 4-wire system first measures the X-coordinates on the upper ITO film and immediately measures the lower ITO film Y-coordinates by measuring the voltage from the backside; the 5-wire system measures the voltage on the upper ITO film and immediately converts it to the lower ITO film XY-coordinates, which provides superior detection accuracy compared to the 4-wire system.
