Physical Structure of Resistive Touchscreen
The resistive touchscreen structure consists of an upper layer and a lower layer via an air layer, and is mainly made of PET film or glass. A transparent conductive material (ITO: Indium Tin Oxide) is coated on the inside of both layers of these materials, and insulating dots are placed in the middle to isolate them, so that only the part that comes into contact with the material under pressure can be read.
Film/ Glass Structure
This is a touchscreen with a structure using a film for the upper electrode and glass for the lower electrode. The touch is detected when the upper film is physically pressed and the lower glass is touched, making it possible to input data not only with fingers but also with pens and gloves.
Glass/ Glass Structure
This is a touchscreen with a structure in which both the upper and lower electrodes are made of glass. The touch is detected when the upper glass is physically pressed and touches the lower glass, allowing input not only with fingers but also with pens and gloves.
