Notification of Firmware UPDATE for TSC-50/IC and TSC5x Controller Board Series

Please be informed that we are updating firmware of TSC 50/IC, controller IC firmware of TSC 5x series, controller boards for resistive touch screens. Please refer to the following for details.

2. Descriptions of the update
Controller IC: The following errors are fixed;
| Fixed error1 | LED2 should be turned on only by NAK response. But it is turned on by ACK response. |

| Fixed error2 | Under the condition that coordinate data send command “0x01” is used, If touch screen is touched at the moment when number of sampling times is 20th, it will not be able to return from power saving mode by touch input afterward. |
| Fixed error3 | After firmware is written in IC, if power becomes off during the processing of building data-flash area at initial power-on, incomplete data will remain and, it will not be able to start normally at the next booting. |
| Fixed error4 | When there is no data in EEPROM, LED2 should be turned on when sampling rate setting command is issued (at NAK). But, it is turned on at power-on. The following improvement is made. Improved content: Processing of correction calculation at EERPOM calibration is improved |
Controller Board: The following errors are fixed;

3．Product number after firmware update

Product numbers will not change. Revision indication on product label will be changed from Rev A to Rev B.
